• Cannabinoid Receptors: These receptors are located on cells throughout your body, especially in the nervous system. When endocannabinoids bind to these receptors, they trigger various cellular responses.

The ECS and Its Importance:

 The endocannabinoid system has been recently recognized as an important modulatory system in the function of brain, endocrine, and immune tissues. It appears to play a very important regulatory role in the secretion of hormones related to reproductive functions and response to stress. 

Did You Know? The cannabis plant contains more than 100 cannabinoids ! THC and CBD are just two of these. The cannabis plant also contains many noncannabinoid terpenes and flavonoids. These cannabinoids and terpenes are mixed up in over 700 varieties forming different strains of cannabis.

 Studies have shown that CBD may help reduce chronic pain by impacting endocannabinoid receptor activity, reducing inflammation and interacting with neurotransmitters.
