AFTER YOU'RE CERTIFIED by one of the Illinois marijuana doctors, learning how to submit your Illinois Marijuana Card Application can be confusing. Pay the state fee at the end of the Illinois Marijuana Card Application and submit it. Wait 30 minutes for your Provisional access letter. This is your temporary medical marijuana card for the first 90 days or so., Now, you're ready to shop. Print your provisional access card. Head to any of the 55 medical cannabis dispensaries. (bring your ID & provisional access letter, or you won't get in) Don't forget to schedule a follow-up visit with your marijuana doctor.
